Default Japan's eAccess plans new move in cell phone war (Reuters)

Reuters - Japan's eAccess Ltd, a broadband Internet and wireless data services provider, said on Monday it will offer a mobile phone service with no basic monthly fee. eAccess, one of three companies granted new wireless licenses in 2005, will start voice services in March, and its move could further exacerbate a price war in Japan's tight mobile market, where NTT DoCoMo Inc, KDDI Corp and Softbank Corp are locked in a fierce competition.
