Default Microsoft withdraws proposal to acquire Yahoo (AFP)

AFP - Microsoft on Saturday yanked its proposal to acquire Yahoo, saying the struggling Internet pioneer refused to budge on price despite the software giant upping its offer to nearly 50 billion dollars.
