The following is a method to extract the codeine from Aspirin or Tylenol products that contain it, such as 222's or Tylenol 1s. This is a well-known method, tried and tested. Many of you may know of it already, but I thought I'd post it anyway. I searched the site for this info before posting, but didn't find it.
I offer you this information with the understanding that you are responsible for what you do with it. I have tried to list both the the pro's and con's, and all the safety information that I posses so you can make an informed choice. I don't know if this is legal where I live, or where you live.
Please act responsibly.
There are a few things we should keep in mind before getting to the method, so forgive the long preamble, but it's necessary.
Although this works with both Aspirin and Tylenol products, I recommend using Asprin, as the end product is cleaner. For the purposes of this post I will be using 222s, which are available over-the-counter at any pharmacy in Canada, where I am. You could use pills that have higher amount of codeine, but you'll need a prescription or some one who can provide you with them, in which case you are probably better off just buying something else from them, such as liquid codeine.
Important:
People taking anti-depressants such as Prozac, Zoloft, or any other SSRI should not take codeine except under supervision of their doctor.
It is dangerous to ingest high doses of codeine. The LD50 is 800mg. This means that an 800mg dose will kill 50% of people who have not acquired a tolerance. Add to that the fact that this method doesn't eliminate the caffeine, so a high dose of codeine extracted using this method includes a high dose of caffeine.
Some people are allergic to codeine. The symptoms vary, but based on my own observations, they include stomach pain, vomiting, dizziness, and anxiety. People with ulcers probably shouldn't try this.
Some people are sensitive to codeine, meaning that they need very little of it to get high. This is apparently due to some enzyme that metabolizes the codeine more quickly than is normal.
Some people, in my experience, will not get any buzz at all from codeine.
Many of the people who have adverse reactions to codeine experience nightmares when they go to sleep that night. It's not unusual for people who have good experiences to have unusually vivid dreams, tho I've never experienced this.
If you have a history of bad experiences with codeine, don't fool around with this. If you have a history of abusing the drugs you like, don't mess around with this. Remember, codeine metabolizes to morphine, and a morphine addiction is nothing to toy with.
The Method:
222s contain 8mg of codeine, 15mg of caffeine, and 300+mg acetylsalicylic acid (Aspirin) per tablet. When we are finished, you will have a clear liquid that contains the codeine and the caffeine, but not the Aspirin. There is a method to remove the caffeine, but I've never tried it. I may be able to find the link to that, in which case I'll add it to the bottom of the post.
In describing the method I will assume that you have no sensitivity to codeine. Also, the starting dose I recommend for a person who has no tolerance to codeine is geared for a coffee-drinking man of about 180lbs, 6'. If you are the type who is sensitive to medication, or are a delicate flower, adjust the starting dose downward.
For the best experience, I suggest that you eat about an hour or so before you ingest your extract. Having a nice, quiet, comfortable place to lie down is nice too.
I shouldn't have to say this, but I will anyway: Don't ever try to inject codeine extract.
You will need the following:
thirty [30] ac&c tablets
two [2] cups/glasses/tumblers whatever
one [1] coffee filter, I recommend using name brand basket-style
approx three quarter [3/4] cups water, lukewarm
two [2] ice cubes
a chaser, such as OJ, or cola, or ginger ale, whatever you like to wash a nasty taste outta your mouth
Step 1:
In one cup, add the pills to the water. The pills will dissolve shortly. It depends on the brand. You may choose to stir to encourage them to hurry the f&ck up.
While waiting for the pills to dissolve, fit your coffee filter over the mouth of the second cup. Use an elastic if you like, but it's not really necessary.
Step 2:
When the pills have completely dissolved, add the ice to the water/pills solution. Stir well, being sure to mix everything up nicely. You can either let the ice cubes melt, or proceed to the next step before they melt.
Step 3:
Pour the well-stirred solution thru the coffee filter, into the second glass. Chances are you will have to pour it little by little because the average coffee filter on the average cup doesn't have enough depth to take 3/4 cups of water all at once. Be patient. Stir before you pour, no matter how many times you pour.
Step 4:
The finished product, meaning the stuff that passed thru the filter, should be as clear as water. The solution shouldn't be cloudy and there shouldn't be any sediment on the bottom of the glass. If the solution is cloudy, or there is sediment, then you should repeat the extraction using more than one filter.
Assuming that everything went smoothly, go ahead and drink that final, clear, nasty tasting solution. Chase it down, and if need be, chew some gum or have a snack to get the taste outta your mouth.
I recommend repeating the method with the sludge. You won't need quite as much water. The reason to re-extract is that you won't be getting all the codeine on the first run-thru. You'll get most of it, no doubt, but not all of it.
Once you have tried the initial dose, you can adjust the number of pills up or down as you see fit.
I don't recommend upping the dose by more than 5 pills at a time. The absolute most you should extract for one dose is 50 pills. That is what I would consider a high dose, mostly because of the caffeine.
Effects as I have experienced them:
good:
more-than-mild euphoria, return-to-the-womb-type floating sensation when eyes closed (this depends on finding the exact right dose). Strange as it seems, I have found codeine to be a panacea, even when I haven't used it for a year. Hangover? Codeine fixes that. Allergies? Ya, codeine fixes that. Back pain? Fixes that too.
bad:
some itchiness (especially my nose), constipation, psychological and physical addiction. Also, the high amounts of caffeine will mess with your coffee habit.
Any questions, concerns, complaints etc, feel free to pm me.
